Teardrop-Shaped Shrub Cutter

FOR AN OPTIMAL CUTTING RESULT. With the teardrop-shaped shrub cutter, you can achieve optimum results when trimming and shaping your shrubs. The teardrop shape reliably holds stems in the blade so that you can cut precisely. At the same time, the two-sided blades of the shrub cutter ensure high cutting performance.

Tip Protector 

PREVENTS DAMAGE. The tip protector prevents damage to the blades. The tip protector also makes it easier to cut close to the ground or along walls.

Two-Hand Control

FOR EASY START-UP. You can start the power tool easily by simultaneously pressing the switches on the loop handle and on the rear handle. Two-hand control can be operated by right-handed or left-handed users.

Does the STIHL HSA 60 come with a battery and charger?

Yes. This set includes a STIHL AK 10 lithium‑ion battery and a STIHL AL 101 charger, so you can start trimming right away—no additional purchases required.

What type battery does the STIHL HSA 60 use?

The HSA 60 is powered by STIHL AK‑System lithium‑ion batteries. It is compatible with all AK‑System batteries, allowing you to upgrade or share batteries with other STIHL AK tools. 

Is the STIHL HSA 60 suitable for large hedges?

Yes. With a 24‑inch cutting bar, wide 34 mm tooth spacing, and a powerful EC motor, the HSA 60 is designed to handle medium to large hedges, shrubs, and thicker growth efficiently.

Can the handle be adjusted for different cutting angles? 

Yes. The rotating multi‑function handle can be turned 90° left or right at the push of a button, allowing comfortable and controlled cutting when trimming hedge tops, sides, or working at height.

What happens if branches get stuck in the blades? 

The HSA 60 includes an anti‑blocking system. Simply press the main switch and the blade rotation direction changes, freeing jammed branches quickly and helping you get back to work without interruption.

Is the STIHL HSA 60 suitable for both right- and left-handed users?
