The STIHL BGA 50 battery leaf blower from the STIHL AK System is compact, versatile, and ideal for tackling tough cleaning tasks in small to medium-sized areas. It efficiently clears leaves and debris from driveways, sidewalks, patios, and lawns with consistent blowing power throughout the battery charge.

This convenient set includes the STIHL AK 20 battery and AL 101 standard charger, so you can get started right away.

Lightweight and well-balanced, the BGA 50 offers fatigue-free operation. Its adjustable blowing force lets you tailor the power to different surfaces—perfect for clearing leaves from gravel paths without disturbing the stones. The trigger-based design eliminates the need for a locking lever, making it easy to use.

For space-saving storage, the blower tube detaches without tools, and the unit can be hung using the built-in carrying ring.

CONSTANT POWER
CONSTANT POWER, REGARDLESS OF BATTERY CHARGE STATUS. With other brands of battery tools, the performance usually decreases during work as the battery discharges. This is not the case with STIHL cordless power tools with CONSTANT POWER. Thanks to the intelligent electronics, your STIHL power tool works with consistently high power.

CARRYING RING

FOR SAFE STORAGE. The power tool has an integrated carrying ring. This allows you to store your power tool safely and compactly.

VARIABLE BLOWING FORCE

MAXIMUM FLEXIBILITY AND CONTROL. The blowing force can be flexibly adjusted to be as effective and energy-saving as possible when cleaning different surfaces. This means that you can adapt to different working conditions at any time and carry out cleaning work in a controlled manner.

SIMPLE AND STRAIGHTFORWARD OPERATION

Simple interface with speed trigger only, ensures intuitive operation. No additional steps to unlock the device needed.

How does a variable speed trigger help me?

With a variable blow speed, it is possible to adapt the performance to varying cleaning situations. For instance, when blowing leaves on a gravel path you want to focus on blowing the leaves away, not the gravel leaving blank spots on your path behind. Adjusting your blow speed helps you to avoid rework in this case.

Besides, when blowing debris and foliage out of edges and corners in small spots (e.g. your garage, behind garbage cans) dosing your air speed helps you to blow the debris out of corners without throwing it into the air and redistributing it unintentionally. Regarding safety, improved air speed control also reduces the risk of blasting debris into the air and ultimately into your face.

Storing blowers is also a problem as they take up a lot of space, how does the BGA 50 support me?

As the blower tube is fully detachable from the body you can store it easily in two pieces in your workshop, garage or basement in a space saving manner. No tools are needed which is convenient – it detaches by turning the tube off the bayonet coupling on the body.

By using the mounting hook on the backside, the BGA 50 can also be hang onto a wall easily.

Can I get different nozzles for my BGA 50?

Not as of now. We are introducing a universal interface connecting the device and the blower tube starting with the BGA 50. Once we have accessories available this will ensure compatibility with the BGA 50.
