AP 200 BATTERY

The STIHL AP 200 Lithium-Ion battery packs power into a lightweight, ergonomic design. High-quality cells used in STIHL batteries can handle more than 1,500 charge cycles, delivering superior run time and long battery life. A weather-resistant battery casing protects cells from humidity and allows users to work in less than ideal conditions.

This tool is IPX4-rated weather-resistant construction and has been designed and tested for splash water protection.

STIHL AP batteries with a nominal voltage of 36 V can be recharged using STIHL AL battery quick chargers or the STIHL AL 101 battery standard charger.

STIHL AP batteries have the following energy capacities:

• AP 100 with 94 Wh battery power, 1.8 lb weight
• AP 200 with 187 Wh battery power, 2.9 lb weight
• AP 300 with 227 Wh battery power, 3.8 lb weight
• AP 500 S with 337 Wh battery power, 4.4 lb weight

This tool is IPX4-rated weather-resistant construction and has been designed and tested for splash water protection.

FAQs

Question: WHAT TOOLS CAN I USE THIS BATTERY IN?

A: This battery will fit in any of the tools in the STIHL AP System, including the FSA 85 and FSA 90 R grass trimmers, HSA 66, BGA 86 leaf blower and the RMA 510 and RMA 510 V lawn mowers.

Question: HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO CHARGE?

A: Using the AL 101 charger, you can fully charge the AP 300 battery in 100 minutes, or you can charge it to 80% in 75 minutes. Using the AL 300 quick charger takes 45 minutes to reach 100% and 30 minutes to reach 80%.

Tips

#1 LOOKING AFTER YOUR BATTERY

Don't use a damp or wet battery in your tools and avoid using them in extreme temperatures (very hot or very cold). 

#2 STORING YOUR BATTERY

Take your battery out of the tool you have used it in and store it separately in a clean, dry place out of direct sunlight and ideally in some packaging, such as cardboard, to protect it, at a temperature between -10°C and 50°C. Don't forget to keep it out of reach of children.
